Calgary shred phenom Jed Anderson continued down his path of being "the next big thing" (although he'd never claim that), at Bear Mountain's Hot Dawgz and Handrails contest this past weekend. Placing second behind local Scotty Vine, there was some talk that maybe Jed should've placed higher. Fellow Canadian Jake Kuzyk landed himself in fourth.
Not only does Jed have the current cover (and an interview in) the new issue of Snowboard Canada Magazine, he's also got a highly anticipated part coming in Transworld's Get Real video. And let's not forget that he took first place in halfpipe at the Canadian Open last winter, even though he doesn't spend much time riding pipe.
