One night, two contests and the Beatnuts. It's all happening Friday, May 29th at the Sound Academy in Toronto for only $10 (tickets available now at Ticketmaster).
The details:
The Push Payout skate competition will feature teams from Toronto's
best skateboard shops competing on a custom-built street-style course right
inside the Sound Academy. In a unique twist, the Push Payout will combine a
skate competition with a game of blackjack, whereby skaters will be scored with
playing cards (with aces awarded for the best tricks) and their teammates will
play out hands at the blackjack table to see who wins. Prizes will come from
Push.ca, Red Bull, and the newly
launched Kingshit skateboard
magazine.
Later on, assuming you're still standing, Red Bull will be hosting the Last Call, Best Trick Ledge Contest for another chance to get your payout.
All of this is wrapped around a performance by The Beat Nuts, along with Jeremy Chambers.
