TWSSF: Skate and Deploy
Posted On Apr 18 2009, 02:08 PM by encomintor

Friday was the start of the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival, kicking off with all things skate. First up was Skate and Deploy: a savage skate comp held in the underground parking garage of the conference centre. An old Volvo was sacrificed for the event and put to good use. After skating, it was time for the opening of the Skate of the Art show, featuring the full Rolling Perspective photo show.

Lots went down, and we'll have full coverage from Frank Daniello and Brian Caissie this week. In the mean time, here's a few photos to get you excited.

[Update: Here's Frank's coverage of the event]

Push.ca sponsored the wallride comp, sending a few talented skaters home with some coin.
