The once "Dirty" Pete Andersen is a legend in Canadian snowboarding. An original Wildcat, Pete went from semi-sponsored rider and video producer to the multi-tasking, multi-talented media man he is today. You've heard him on the microphone at snowboard contests, you've seen him in magazines and now you'll read his words on Push. Originally from Ontario, Peter is living in Calgary so he can fully exploit the local economy.

Teetering on the edge of his biggest year yet, 24-year-old Mark Sollors is taking it all in stride. Mark spent the season shooting for Transworld Snowboarding's In Color , set to hit shred shop and cyberspace shelves in September, and he's just about to head to New Zealand for a catalog shoot with the snowboard giant... Towering over her fellow female snowboarders, and fellow male snowboarders for that matter, 6'1" Megan Whiteside is a bit of an anomaly. It has long been believed that to be a great snowboarder you must have a low center of gravity. Perhaps that is the norm, and according to physics it is indeed correct, but every now... (more)

I have had the sick pleasure of knowing Andrew Hardingham for over a decade and Dustin Craven for just about as long. At some point during that time I have interviewed them both for pretty much every snowboard publication you can think of and can count on my hands the number of times I have received a straight answer from either... I have trouble wrapping my head around Christmas in the summer, let alone how someone growing up snowboarding from July to September can make it to the level that Jake Koia has. Born and raised in Queenstown, New Zealand, Jake has beaten the odds criss-crossing hemispheres chasing the snow to become the globally recognized snowboarder... (more)

It's that time of year again! Snowboard movie teasers are taking the information superhighway by storm. It seems a new one is dropping just about every week. I combed through a ton of them and decided to pick on the following six. In no particular order I broke ‘em down and give you my two cents on each one. I invite... (more)

This 16-year-old shred-phenom is no stranger to not only boardsports, but also dominating boardsports. In the last two years Mark McMorris has won the Junior Men's Division at the National Wakeboard Championships as well as the Men's Pro Wakeskate event. Now, in snowboarding, he's coming off a 5th place finish at... (more)
