Growing up in Markham, Ontario, Mikey made the big move out west to "live the dream" via his semi-professional snowboard career. Eventually the mind outlasted the body and his focus shifted to getting an education and a "real job" in the action sport industry. Born and raised in Cranbrook BC, Helen Schettini made the big move to Whistler when she was 17 years old. After being told that she would have to start paying rent at her parent's house if she wasn't heading straight to college, she packed up her bags and got out of the house ASAP. Its been said that if you love your day job, you're never going to have to work a day in your life. Working in the shred industry isn't going to make you rich right away, or at all for the matter, but the one thing it will do is allow you to enjoy your job. In order to accomplish a goal, you need to factor a certain amount of risk into the equation. Sometimes those risks pay off and other times they end up kicking you in the ass. Born and raised in the middle of the magnificent Bois-Francs region of Quebec, William Lavigne or "Will" as he is known in the shred industry, is one hell of a snowboarder.
