Interesting timing on this one. One of our columnists, the ever-entertaining David Rouleau, submitted an interview he conducted with Dano Pendygrasse yesterday. After reading and editing the interview (which will be posted for you to read and enjoy in the very near future), I hopped over for a visit Dano's blog, which I consider to be among the most entertaining in the snowboard cyber-community. For those unfamiliar, Dano isn't just one of Canada's best snowboard photographers, but is a genuine pioneer in both realms: snowboarding and photography. And he's also an interesting guy, so I highly recomend a visit to his blog to gain some insight into his life and work (and to view some awfully nice photographs).

Having never truly blogged prior to the launch of Push, I feel like I'm still searching for my confort zone; that happy place where I'll have a sixth sense (or better yet, an instinct) of what to blog about and why. Reading other blogs has helped a lot, especially in terms of seeing both good and bad examples, and I give credit to Dano for using his blog to mix his business, creative and personal lives in a compelling way. Of course it sure does help that he can fullfill his own visual needs.
I'll cap this post now for two reasons: A) I'll spoil Rouleau's column; and B) It sounds an awful lot like I'm on Dano's jock.

aren't we all on his jock
I've been thinking a lot about Westbeach, one of Canada's oldest snowboard brands, lately. Mainly
And a discussion on the future (pun intended) of snowboard magazines. I fear this particular article
