It seems like Ottawa-born shredder Matt Belzile graduated from grom to veteran in the blink of an eye. Wasn't it just yesterday when his first am interviews appeared? If you ride the terrain park at any resort, your thoughts are likely focused on what's in front of you: the jump, box, rail or halfpipe you're about to hit. What goes on behind the scenes doesn't matter much in the heat of the moment. You don't know who builds and grooms the park and you don't really care... (more)

The SIA tradeshow (held this year in Denver, Colorado, for the first time after decades in Las Vegas) is ostensibly about selling products, but is really an unofficial annual reunion for members of the snowboard industry. If you think winter's over, you're correct: according to the calendar, it ended on Saturday, March 20 th . But if you think the snowboard season's over, you're sadly mistaken.
