In Canada, there's no event that showcases the importance of personal friendships, and the impact one individual can make on many people, like the annual GT Memorial. Spencer Francey covered the 2011 edition for Push.ca, which celebrates the life and legacy of Canadian snowboarder (and NoBoarder, of course) Greg "GT"... (more)

It's one thing to watch any big event on TV, but another altogether being there in person to share it with thousands of other lucky people. And while I got to attend plenty... (more)

For riders living in the east, getting to meet pro snowboarders is a big deal. Think about it: if you live in Whistler, odds are good you'll bump into a pro often enough, whether it's in the chairlift line or the liquor store line. But in Ontario? Unless you're at a secret rail spot at 3 AM while a film crew's... (more)
