I'm not sure where you are reading
this, but if it is somewhere in Canada, chances are you are indoors due to
our brutally cold/snow/rainy/dark half-year we call "winter". It is really hard
maintaining that summer time kickflip flick when your only option to skate
is bundled up in your local underground parking garage.
This is why I was overjoyed when Push
asked me to go down to Cali and cover some of the Canadians who decided to
beat our winter by renting out a vacation home in Los Angeles.
This latest "casa-de-Canuck" consists
of newly anointed Flip am Matt Berger, Derek Swaim (of recent Berrics.com
fame) and Micky Papa. Of course, the house has also had its fair share of
Canadian visitors/couch surfers - Cory Wilson, Rich Odam and Mike Campbell to
name a few.
Here are some photos and accompanying
video of what went down the week I was there. I'd like to thank Push.ca
for helping me preserve my kickflip flick for one more week. I'm starting to
lose it again...might be time to buy another ticket.
