First Photos Guidelines

Here's what you need to know to enter First Photos:

  • You can submit up to 10 photos (maximum 2 per week).
  • All photos must be of skateboarding: no portraits, lifestyles, or chilling photos.
  • Tag your photos with "First Photos Entry" and write a caption with your name, the skater's name, trick and location.
  • The photo must be shot by you and you must have permission from the skater to enter the shot.
  • You must be over 18 to enter and read the Contest Rules before entering.
  • Photos should not be overly manipulated or have any text on them. Our judges are smart and will catch you.
  • Photos considered inappropriate or offensive will be disqualified and removed.
  • You cannot have ever had a photo published in any major skateboard publication (including Color, SBC Skateboard, Concrete, Kingshit, Expose, or any publications outside of Canada).

Over 18? That's the worst! I guess 17 doesn't cut it anymore.
