after running into sasquatch in the day lodge we knew the final push was going to be a success. his fur is known for its magic and good luck. We kept with our positive 'tude and had a great time in the end.

So we made it. 48 hours of antics, 4 hours of sleep, fresh faces, fresh places, stoked we made it out alive! Big ups to all the other teams for holdin it down the whole time, DC for providing an opportunity to enjoy the ride.... even more! and Grouse again for putting up with us! Shout out to Evolution yo thanks for sending us here! id think of more nice words but im afraid my brain will explode! Glad to have made 'er through and stoked on how fun it was!

2 am and time for a nap. these squatters didnt seem to mind us poaching their beds so we sent it!

- this dude wasnt too stoked about us going on the ice with our boots. quicky learned our lesson as he showed his level 5 blackbelt in ASS KICKING!

- and then there was an ice ninja.

- ran into a gang of pirates. everyone knows that pirates hate ninjas. they're so scared you can see the tears in their eyes.

The two of us got our second wind after a quick nap on the air mattress. this is the home stretch and we're in it for the long haul.

the afternoon started off great when our sweet roommate showed up for lunch! gordo has never been more stoked. the chair im sitting on is going to explode so we have to make this a fast one. we got to demo some sweet DC boards on Grouse and had a bunch of fun!

Gordo and i went through the park the past couple hours. our brains are so dead i dont think we even realized what we were doing anymore! who am i! we managed to try and huck our meat on some jumps and rails, gordos shoulder is all messed up from a double front misty to switch back 12 but failed on the take off and caught his edge.

-Gord likes big butts and he cant deny. check out them tighties.

-greasing this press so heavy he's gonna slide on down to vancouver.

- Big T enjoys the ride more when his nose is all pressed on some box.

its 730 am now, we slept maybe an hour on the blowup mattress last night so were recharged! MENERGY!! after a few 1-footed laps in the park we met up with our buddy from the rental shop. i think his name was cupid. it definately started with a c.

-for some reason his snowboard was a lot smaller than our snowboards. instead of beating him up for being different, we became homies and repped our city together!

awesome, yeah, its cool.

Although a rock-hard ice park at 3 am is pretty rad tastic to ride, gordo and i really wanted to take this one step further. we wanted to take the ride somewhere nobody has before. not some snowboard park with marked obstacles and a few plastic slidy boxes for the kiddies. we took this shit to the NEXT LEVEL!

THE SNOWSHOE PARK.

With our childhood mostly involving watching/being the karate kid, our snowshoe style was heavily influenced. it seemed like our feet would rather climb up trees then stay planted. you cant stop us!

it's been a long day at the office.

NIGHT NINJAZ!

T and I were feeling a little parched after riding all day so we decided to go for some apple juice at the local drinking establishment. We got some nachos with extra cheese and were greasing it hard! After eating and such, I went to meet T to get our gear on and he had totally vanished into the night. I knew i had to get our blog post done so i decided to meet up with some other friends.

-Mmmmmm, apple juice.

-yeah im riding my bed with six randoms.....

- me and the local posse holding it down with a popped mattress.

- i managed to run into a battle to the death between a night ninja and a night liftie,

-the night ninja totally killed the liftie so we decided to go tweak the shit out of some boxes together

-ninjas know no rules

-after riding all night the mysterious ninja decided he had to warm his ass up.

okay, so,

after gord and i mowed some grub, we were in search of the holy grail. we decided to go climb up some rocks and jump off of them into some snow!

-we decided to stop and take a city-scape because it was so freaking nice up here today!!

-pop drop stomp!

afterwards, riding up the chairlift gordo and i were talking about backflips and came to the realization that in my 8 years of snowboarding ive never done a backflip. or a wildcat. or a switch back 12, but that'll be in tomorrows blog. we build a dinger jump and did some inverted aerial maneuvers, without helmets!!

-with gordos roots being from 100 mile house, he's a mans man. here he is building things the hard way. real men dont use shovels.

-gordo getting LAID out twice in one day!

-Big T's first wildcat that didn't have a hole in the bottom of the can.

Our Monster invite-only session was cut short due to some technical battery problems (as in it died) so we decided to grease some laps in the park while the battery re-charged! We'll be back with some bangers in the next blizzog-YO!

Gordo and I have been enjoying the ride BIG TIME over here in grouse! Blue skies, sunny days, sun shine and some big-ass smiles.

We decided to head to the jib park for the morning and managed to snap a few pics!

-The beaver didnt fill gordo up so he went for some real meat, while tristan opted for some fish.
