If you think you’ve got a lot on the go, you’d better check David Rouleau’s resume. He’s a self-described “snowboarder, filmmaker, freelancer and media mangler” who’s had riding photos published in every major North American shred magazine. David currently lives in Vanvouver B.C, rides for Sessions and CAPiTA and works with Push.ca to try and bring you the inside scoop on the Canadian snowboard scene. You can also find David’s writing and general influence on Gnarcore.com.

I mean, it's not their fault. It's mine; I'm just impatient. Max Baillargeon is French. We met a couple... (more)

When you see a snowboarder in a video or a magazine that you don't really know in real life, it's natural to create your own image of that person. This was true for me and Louif Paradis. Whenever I'd read Louif's name in print, I'd instantly associate it with a series of photographs and words. It would start... (more)

A Photo Essay by David Rouleau I recently got a hold of a couple disposable cameras one afternoon while in Whistler this summer. It allowed me to have 24 conversations that went exactly like this: “Hey man can I take your photo?” “Uhm, sure.” “Ooookaaaaay…” Click! “Ah, right on... (more)

And a discussion on the future (pun intended) of snowboard magazines. I fear this particular article may be a bit too, well, geeky for the general public to appreciate. Or perhaps I myself am displaying the same amount of disconnect that this very interview is protesting against. Hmm… I think the latter is bang-on, but... (more)
